If I outsource my wash-bay, what sort of contract do I need to sign?

We normally require at least a 12 month contract. This is because there is a large capital outlay on equipment and we need to recoup these costs.  Obviously, the longer the contract, the cheaper the price as the amortisation of the Capex takes place over a longer period.

 

What happens if I sign a contract and then am not satisfied?

We do provide an escape clause: “Breach of Contract”.  If we don’t perform in terms of the contract, you can terminate it.

 

Is it cheaper to outsource our cleaning?

Yes, definitely. Although we pay the prescribed wages in terms of the Sectoral Determination, compulsory Provident Fund & Annual Bonus, our prices include:

  • Labour & relief workers
  • Chemicals & consumables
  • Uniforms
  • Payroll taxes
  • Equipment & maintenance
  • Loss & damage
  • Training & Management of the staff
  • Disciplinary hearings, CCMA matters & dispute resolution

This gives you time to focus on your core business.

 

How do I know that you pay the prescribed wages?

We have been audited by our Employer Body, the National Contractors Cleaning Association (NCCA), and have a current Compliance Certificate which covers everything to do with compliance, viz. SARS, WCA, Health & Safety, Labour Law, Environmental Policy, etc.

 

How can our Company benefit from your B-BBEE scorecard?

The Preferred Procurement Element on the scorecard allows you to claim up to 202.5% of your Rand spend with us.  With the allowable Enterprise Development, you can easily claim the full 15 points merely by settling your cleaning invoice early.

 

What is Cleaning Africa’s BEE rating?

We are a Level 1 Contributor, Value Adding Supplier and a Category A Beneficiary. This is the highest B-BBEE score that can be attained.

 

If I need my toilets deep cleaned, do I need to sign a contract?

No. We have a specialised Once-Off Division that works on an ad hoc basis. This service is perfect for occasions such as:

  • Deep Cleaning
  • High Rise Cleaning
  • Window Cleaning
  • Carpets & Upholstery Cleaning
  • Stripping & Sealing of floors
  • Pre-cleaning of buildings,  etc.

 

For once-off cleans, how long in advance do I have to book?

We have several teams in our Once-Off Division and would probably be able to do the clean within the week, depending on demand.
